Small Dog Adoptions California

Where I can apply for funding for an injured cat?
We are a small rescue dog Shasta, California, but found a cat yesterday that we take in and try to find some kind of attention. His name is Ahab. He was a stray cat that is being taken in, fed, and tamed by a good Samaritan. Unfortunately, Ahab went into the engine compartment of his truck family without anyone knowing, and when the truck began Ahab was sucked the engine and wounded. It appears that damage to the nerve and ligation of the right rear and left front leg. He can still limping around, and you can eat, drink water and remove in a litter box without too many problems, so that we believe can be rehabilitated. We are in need of funding, however, to help pay for their accounts of veterinary and physical therapy. We are a center of "no kill", and continue until well Ahab, neutered, and prepared for approval. Could help find funding sources to help this cat?
My strong suggestion is to find private funding. (I hope the good Samaritan chip in). Here are some websites that can help you find funding. The latter is my vet (I hope she, Dr. Merrill, do not hate me for this). They are so good in the animal rescue however. She is taken in a litter of kittens sick, a dog with serious problems and had to eat standing on its hind legs – and so on. Maybe help with a donation? I would also call local veterinarians to see if * you * could also make a donation. Tell them you publicly acknowledge your generosity. (After you do that). "The veterinarian who treated the competition in the kitten? Every little bit helps. A hundred here, a hundred could easily reach vet bills …. Also get your Marketing hat! Place a picture of the kitten and history – along with a plea for donations. There are some great people heart out there! Also contact your local television, radio and newspapers. They often sponsor without the key elements of the community and is going far beyond the local signs.
